One paragraph
Quilt is a family calendar built for the way families actually run, including families that run across two homes. It writes the custody schedule from the court order, holidays and school breaks included, and shows every member of the family whose house it is in their own color. Parents ask for schedule changes by tapping days, the other parent answers in one tap, and every request, answer, message and expense is stamped by the server and kept in a record that nobody can edit. Kids get their own device view with chores, stars and rewards, no account needed. Quilt costs one family price, not one per parent, and is free for families under one roof.

The founder line
Craig Valentine built Quilt after using the co-parenting apps that courts recommend and finding they felt like a courtroom. He wanted the calendar his own kids could read on the fridge, with the record kept quietly underneath.

Logo and colors
The mark is four quilt squares, two coral and two teal, on sand. Use it on light backgrounds; leave a square of space around it. Don't recolor it or set the wordmark in title case.

- The record is append-only at the database level, not just in the app: rows cannot be updated or deleted, and exports carry a SHA-256 fingerprint so a copy can be checked against the original.
- Kids never need an account. A parent pairs a phone or tablet with a six-digit code and that device opens the kid's own Quilt every time.
- Sign-in with Google or Apple shares only a name and an email with Quilt. Neither parent can see anything of the other's accounts.
- One price covers the whole family. The best-known co-parenting app charges each parent separately.
- Chores are planned by an assistant from four questions (what chores should do, how to motivate, ages, budget) and parents trim the plan before it goes to the kids.
- Quilt is not a legal service and gives no legal advice. If the app and a court order disagree, the order governs.
