The family calendar
Every piece in place.
One calendar for the whole family. Two homes or one. Who's where, what's on, who's driving, and what's for dinner, in a place everyone can see and nobody has to explain.
Free for families under one roof. Co-parenting tools free for 30 days, then $9.99 a month or $79 a year.
Made for the way your family actually runs
A quilt is many pieces, each one someone's, stitched into one thing that keeps everybody warm. That's the idea, whatever your family looks like.
Two homes
The custody schedule comes straight from your agreement, holidays and school breaks included. Changes need a yes from both of you, and everything is written down.
One home, busy week
Practices, appointments, work trips, dinner. Everyone sees the same calendar, so the question is never asked twice.
Kids
Their own calendar, in their own color, on their own phone or the fridge: whose house it is, what's today, chores with stars.
Grandparents and sitters
A view of only what you choose to share, and invites to family gatherings that work without an account.
Set up in an evening
- 1
Tell Quilt about your family
Names, kids, one home or two. If you have a custody agreement, enter the template and holidays once; Quilt writes the calendar through next year.
- 2
Bring in what you already have
Connect Google, subscribe from Apple, import the team schedule. Or just type it: “swim practice Tuesday 6 to 7 on Nellie's calendar.”
- 3
Invite the rest of the family
Each person gets their own sign-in and their own color. The other parent, the kids, the grandparents: everyone sees the one calendar.
What's inside
A schedule that writes itself
Week on/week off, 2-2-3, 2-2-5-5, or your own pattern. Holidays by even and odd year, school breaks, no-school Mondays. It stays right without anyone typing dates.
Changes both of you agree to
Ask for a night, give one back, swap, or offer first refusal when you're away. The other parent gets a note and answers with one tap. Agreed changes lock and land everywhere.
A record that holds up
Every request, answer and message is timestamped by the server and can't be edited or deleted. Print any date range when you need it.
Kids' activities, one place
Practices, games, dentist, birthdays. Who's taking them fills in from the schedule. Comments and reactions from the people it's about.
Gatherings with real invites
Cookouts and birthdays with a private link for every guest: RSVP, headcount, and who's bringing what. No app required for guests.
Google and Apple, live
A Quilt calendar appears in Google Calendar and updates itself. Apple subscribes with one link. Bring your existing calendars in and edit them from either side.
Dinner, notes, chores, lists
A dinner line on any day. Chores with stars for the kids. Shared lists, including the packing list for the other house.
Your agreement, explained
Upload the custody order and ask it questions in plain language. Answers quote the document. Parents only, always.
Wall mode
Put an old tablet on the fridge. This week in big type, weather on hand-off days, refreshes itself.
Private by design
- Each parent's personal calendar and notes are theirs alone.
- Kids see whose house it is and what's theirs, nothing about the grown-ups' arrangements.
- Documents live in a locked vault that guests and kids can never reach.
- No ads, no selling data, ever.
Calm on purpose
Co-parenting tools usually feel like a courtroom. Quilt reads like a family calendar: plain words, one color per person, and a schedule everyone can trust. The record is there when you need it and out of the way when you don't.

Questions
Do both parents have to use it?
No. One parent can run the whole calendar and share links. It's better when both do, because then changes are agreed in the app and recorded.
Is this legal advice?
No. Quilt is a scheduling and record-keeping tool. If anything in Quilt disagrees with your order, the order governs.
Do the kids need accounts?
Not under 13. A parent adds them, and they get their own calendar view and feed. Accounts are optional for older kids.
What about Outlook, Cozi, TeamSnap?
Import any calendar file today; Google is two-way; Apple subscribes by link. Outlook and Apple two-way are next.
